(FROSTBITE ISLAND) Shantae and The Pirate's Curse: All the Cacklebats/Heart Squids in Frostbite Island.

Here we go! The final part of my guide for all Cacklebats and Heart Squids in Shantae and The Pirate's Curse! Lets dive in.




Frostbite Island 

 Cacklebats: 3
Heart Squids: 6

Cacklebat #1-

Utilities needed-  Boot Upgrade

This Cacklebat can be found by immediately using your Boot upgrade and ramming into the first wall you come into contact with. Pretty much just move right and use the charge run(or whatever you want to call it) as soon as Shantae blinks when you enter the first screen of this level.

Woah? It fell from the sky? From me ramming into this wall? Who woulda thought!

Cacklebat #2-

Utilities needed- none

This Cacklebat is located a bit later after the first one. It is past the first save guy and under the tall snowy and slippery rock. It shouldn't be hard to miss, just stay low during the second part of this level and you should find it.

Cacklebat #3-

Utilities needed- Hat Upgrade, Cannon Upgrade

This section towards the Cacklebat will be towards the far top left of this level, and right before you reach Bolo. Now to get to the Cacklebat, you have to first jump to the rising wind and use your hat to float up to the apex of the rising wind. From there you want to use your Cannon Upgrade and triple jump up to the platform. Make sure you time each jump to maximize your height. Kill the flying enemies in case they get in your way.
After accomplishing that and entering to the next screen, just head all the way up and enter the next screen to the top right. There will be the last Cacklebat of the game!!!

Whoomp! There it is!

Heart Squid #1-

Utilities needed- none

This Heart Squid is located in the room with a number of octopus mouths up in Propeller Town. (to get to this room just head right when you get up to Propeller Town)

Once here, take the second octo mouth in the middle of the 3. Then from the green octo mouth you're in, press DOWN. Then in the 2nd octo mouth you're in, head LEFT. and bam :3

Heart Squid #2-

Utilities needed- Cannon Upgrade

During your quest to find Bolo, you'll come across a opening in the ceiling at a certain point in the higher parts of the level. Jump up through it by using your Cannon Jump.
Doing so will reward you with a Heart Squid.

Heart Squid #3-
Utilities needed-  Cannon Jump

About 2 screens after where Bolo is, jump and use your Cannon Upgrade to reach a Heart Squid!

Heart Squid #4-

Utilities needed- Scimitar/Sword Upgrade

This Heart Squid is located in the vertical part of the dungeon which should be at the top right of it.
When you see it, just go to the top of where the Heart Squid is and down thrust to break the blocks.

 Heart Squid #5-
Utilities needed- None

This one is pretty easy to get.. just travel through the dungeon. In the picture below, to get it just unlock the door that I already have unlocked and go through there. After that and at a certain point, you'll be able to jump up to it from a screen below.

Heart Squid #6-

Utilities needed- none 

To get this Heart Squid, simply crawl through the side of this platform and you'll be where it is.
